BENEFITS IT BRINGS

Despite the challenges and opportunities presented by the future of road freight transport, this sector is a central element of the supply chain and logistics in Spain. With more than 102,000 companies operating in the sector, sustainability and the reduction of emissions through the use of more efficient, alternative and environmentally friendly vehicles, such as electric or hydrogen trucks, are some of the trends expected in the near future.

In addition, digitization and innovation through the application of technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, 5G or LiDAR, will improve the safety, management, control and optimization of transport operations.

Collaboration and understanding between industry players, such as carriers, shippers, manufacturers and public administrations, are essential to adapt to the new demands and regulations of the market and society.

Finally, multimodal transport and intermodality, through the combination of different modes of transport, such as rail or sea, will be essential to take advantage of their benefits in terms of cost, speed and sustainability.

Road transport is not only responsible for ensuring the supply and distribution of essential goods and services, but also generates more than one million jobs a year and represents 3.4% of the Gross Domestic Product.

That is why we at Subitur Transports will continue to work hard to bring the best, and to increase the number of employees as much as possible.
